Harrogate in 50 Buildings examines the architectural treasures of this famous Yorkshire spa and it includes The Chapel among its selection of the town’s most significant and historical buildings.

Many of Harrogate’s important older buildings were created to serve the spa that developed after 1571, and the design of these buildings often reflected the visitors’ needs for accommodation, spa treatments, entertainment and bodily exercise.

Join the author at the Chapel on Thursday 18 October, 2018, from 6pm, when he explores Harrogate’s finest architectural marvels and describes their provenance, design, materials and use. Please ensure your seat at this free event by emailing info [a t] thechapelhg1.com or by phoning +447790 902 603.

* Harrogate in 50 Buildings by Malcolm Neesam, is published in paperback this month by Amberley Books (96 pages, price £14.99). The publisher is offering a discount at its website.
